The past week has been quite eventful! Carter had his first week of "full days" for kindergarten (which made bedtime a piece of cake) as well as his first t-ball practice (which, wow, this could make for some late nights!). We visited with Cousin Ericka on Wed. who was in town from CA....always fun!! Then last weekend, I visited GB in Arizona. It was a bit of a whirlwind, but we made the most of our time together. The weekend was followed by Carter's first t-ball game on Monday night. It was so fun to watch him and his teammates in action (and pretty entertaining!). Some of my favorite moments from the game include:
- watching C sing Michael Jackson songs & do a few dance moves while playing short stop
- seeing one of C's teammates spend his time at short stop picking up dirt, filling his glove & flinging the dirt through the air
- seeing the smile on my boy's face :)
- watching the boys run the bases looking like bobbleheads with their batting helmets on...too cute!
- cheering as I watched Carter at bat hit the first pitch the coach threw for a single! Way to go, C!!
